a drumroll ... aaand, walking in the door is ...

the winner of yesterday's contest!
before I announce the winner, I have to say I'm totally surprised that only one person came up with the theme of the post! I thought it was almost too simple! Maybe my mind just works in weird and bizarre fashion. Who am I kidding? Of course it does. I thought the final photo was the dead give-away, as it was the only photo that didn't literally have a 'flower' on the wall.

Anyway ...

The theme of yesterday's Beverly's Pink Saturday post was "Wall Flowers." (aren't you just having a slap-on-the-head-V8-moment now?!)

The winner is Sabrina, of Following the Lede ! I know that I've sent you things in the past, so I have your address. I'll get your prize out to you this week!

But, now I have all these fab vintage French lottery numbers which are just going to waste! I was going to use them to pick the winner, as I was so sure that there would be muliple correct guesses. Soooooo. I guess the only thing to do is have another giveaway, so I can use them up!

Perhaps you remember earlier this week, I posted this picture and link to a little challenge contest I had entered.

Well, I lost...to a most deserving winner, I should add! However, all of you (except Sabrina, of course) also lost. So let's turn our universal loser status into a fun win/win situation!

No skill or thought process needed for this one! Just leave a comment on this post, and I'll enter your name into a drawing to win Maude Always Dresses for Spring When in Paris. Let's give it a week, and the lottery will remain open until 12midnight on the 22nd. I'll post the random selector winner on the next (May 23) Beverly's Pink Saturday post.

Congratulations to Sabrina ... and good luck to all the rest of us losers!

I'm off to start some projects in the studio, and will hopefully make something beautiful - how about you? Are you going to create something wonderful today?

Ooops. Just an update. Hurrah! As it turns out, I did win the contest! Wouldn't you think by this age I could ADD? So whoever wins the giveaway actually will be winning the (hee hee) prize winner!

OMG, I actually won something?!?!?

Hee, hee, hee!

But you are right -- I do have a number of your great art pieces -- so, I feel a little greedy here. If you want to redo the contest, I'll understand.

I'm just revelling in the fact that I actually won.

I guess you can't count. It wasn't easy stuffing the ballet box ;) I have so many new email addresses and names I don't know who to call myself!!!

Must dash, I have to go find my lucky faux rabbit foot key chain, and start channeling to you "the lucky lottery number is Pattie's" :) :)

Oh my dear, what a lovely card!!! Merci mille fois! You are an incredible and thoughtful person. You artist, you! My husband took the picture of "The Pink Lady", our little rag doll rabbit. This will be my first and maybe lame attempt to do a pink Saturday, but I love pink and voila, that is all that is required! Thanks again for your kindness. Anita
