... and the Winner is

A big ovation for all of you who got the answer correct! So many of you knew who it was ... I have such a clever readership! Everybody should give themselves a big round of applause ....
...before we let the streamers and confetti fly and announce the winner, who is

Angie of Big Hill Goddess
who posted within moments of my original post and ... who knew that this fella
once started out asFrankly, I had no idea, and was surprised to learn who it was. I only knew Truman from the fedora and scarf phase! Well - knew what he looked like - I didn't actually know him. We traveled in different circles. So many of you knew who it was - I was impressed by you all!

Angie, I read your introduction on the One World One Heart event, so I have a very good idea of what kinds of things you like. Email me your address, and I'll send out a specially selected prize for you!

Well, short post today...I'm off to help my elderly neighbor buy her new iMac today. The last time she got a new computer, they talked her into all kinds of bells and whistles that she definitely didn't need and never used.

Toodles ... and remembergo make something beautiful!

OMG I am still laughing about Jesus Tristan! A cult!?!? Too funny, but I DO see the resemblance.

The same door? Your water is probably much softer than out here, but one word: squeegee. We want those doors crystal clear!

How nice of you to help that lady buy a computer. My friend Joyce (a pink saturday lady) mentioned how much she loves your blog. I think you write the best posts, and always leave me with a chuckle! Truman...I remember him always being on the Dick Cavette show. He was such a gossip, but totally entertaining. I had no idea he was that attractive when he was young.

Well, good luck with the computer.

Well, congratulations to the winner! By the way I love all these photos you come up with! The stewardess photo reminds me of a long, long time ago. When they dressed so nicely, seams in their stockings straight, and if you were a stewardess it was every little girls dream. At least those that wanted to travel like me!

Greetings Kiddo,

Ha one doesn't have to be an elder to get sucked into the computer salesperson's grip!!! I have no clue once I get pass the power switch, so it's best if I let my adorable techie side kick handle every thing computer. :)

Congrats to the winner! What a huge contrast between the young and the older TC. Age happens to the best of us!

Tristan, I have the same pic of the 5 gals showing their gams in the streamers. Everytime I see this pic, I think they are sitting in a huge mountain of spaghetti.

Yay! I was almost 100% sure it was Mr. Capote, but there is always the element of doubt!

After drooling over all the stuff in Tristan's blog, you better believe there was major excitement at my house when I discovered I could expect some happy mail from him! I was doing the chair wiggle for quite some time.

Tristan, emailing my addy AND answering the question you asked on my blog.

Thanks for the fun beginning AND end of my day!

The comparison of later life Truman
to early Truman is a reminder why we
should all guard and treasure our early portraits.

I've already selected a photo
(circa age 22), which I plan to have
made into a poster to put above my bed in the old-folks-home.
Just my way of saying to the nurses:
This OLD Bag Used to be
A Hot Young Thing!
