I just found out that I was featured on the Stitchin' Heaven website. They are doing a month of featuring men who work in the quilt field. If you have a chance, go take a quick look!
I read your profile and learned some new info about you. Funny how that woman's negative comment challenged you. Sometimes a person like that can actually inspire new levels of achievement. Wish I could let go of my perfectionist streak. It can shut my creativity down.
Your quilts are marvelous. I read your interview and tried to leave a comment there but the page wouldn't come up. Nice to read more about you and how you got started. More quilts please! Catherine

Yes! Life does sparkle and shimmer and glimmer and gleam! And I love it! Whether I'm making art, working with fabric, paper, ink and vintage findings - or working on a theatre piece - or sewing like an ecstatic dervish on a new art quilt - I'm always attracted to what shimmers just out of sight...the ghosts of sparkle and the rich dignity of decayed splendor.
Sparkle!
Shimmer!
Glimmer!
Gleam!
