Aaron Kasmin’s pencil drawings offer an escape into a time when smoking was considered chic and various hotels, bars and restaurants flogged their wares via miniature artworks that their patrons could take away with them. Up in Smoke by Aaron Kasmin was on display at Sims Reed Gallery, London from May 17 – June 9, 2017.
"Following the success of Lucky Strike, Kasmin’s previous show at SRG, the artist is hosting a second exhibition inspired by American feature matchbooks. The exhibition showcases twenty-eight new pencil drawings, which celebrate and pay homage to the glitz and glamour of the post-prohibition era." from the Sims Reed Gallery exhibition announcement
I don't think there's much to write in this post - just some fun images to enjoy!
Now, go make something beautiful!
