The Lost Pink Saturday Blog Hop Post

As most everybody who has read my post with any regularity knows, I always credit people whenever it's appropriate. I started blogging almost 20 years ago, and it's just second nature to me.

Today, after almost 3,000 posts, I neglected to do so. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea culpa.

Well. Although I usually only receive about 5 or 6 comments on each post, my inbox was FILLED with comments from people letting me know that I hadn't given credit to the original author. And these were not pleasant informative posts; not every single one was nasty - but over half were ugly hateful snide and vicious.

I got so upset (and, admittedly, angry) at the tone of many of these messages (think bitter, lonely, disillusioned, and chip on the shoulder abandoned wives), I just deleted the entire post. I wish they weren't cowards and identify themselves so I could do something that would really make them vent their spleens - like maybe tipping over an outhouse on their front lawn.

So, no post this week.

Oh Tristan, I'm so sorry you had the abandoned Wives and Cretans respond in such an Unlovely way, but they are who they just are. You had me rolling with the visual of them tipping over their Outhouses on the front Lawn! *LMAOROTF* It's hilarious sometimes what people will froth at the Mouth about and feel the Need to get Feral as a Cause for! I myself am Amused right now at the Anti-Mask and Anti-Vaxxer Crowds when they show up to Town Hall Meetings and literally lose their shit and make such Ignorant Spectacles of themselves. It's a piece of cloth and just another Immunization folks, Calm Down, you can still probably wear your Pajamas to Walmart and forego wearing the Bra or putting your Teeth in... just sayin'. *winks*

I didn't see this before you took it down. I know well that you are aces on crediting people and sometimes things just happen and one slips up. So I'm sorry that happened and most of all sorry that people were so unkind in responding. It is one thing to alert a blogger or a gentle reminder to please credit so and so, and quite another to throw the book at that person in an inappropriate way. I love the mask meme.

Missed your post and missed one more moment of internet infamy. The infamy is definitely not you, but people who went out of their way to be unkind and nasty. I don't get it, but I say "I don't get it," just about every half hour these days. There are so many things I just don't get and that's my nice way of describing my feelings. Take care!
