My latest adventure in the fab Basically Bare products has been posted. Please stop in and take a peek - and leave a comment that you were there - it means a lot to us!
Tristan. This is so wonderful. You purposefully kept it simple enough to best show off the natural beauty of the rocks. Love it! You have been so kind to stop by my blog. I am grateful beyond words. One of my worst habits that I am struggling to overcome is not finding time to leave blog messages. While your art has always provided inspiration to me, now you are also (hopefully) inspiring me to be better about leaving messages! And, well, if I don't....know that I am still always in awe of your work.
xoxo, Betsy
p.s. do you actually own that vintage Rudolph on the side? He is (pulling out my 80s valleygirl jargon) "to die for"!
I love Etageres and what they can display. Your tiny rock collection is perfect for your newly created Etagere. Great tutorial over on Basically Bare. Creative Etagere Bliss...
Yes! Life does sparkle and shimmer and glimmer and gleam! And I love it! Whether I'm making art, working with fabric, paper, ink and vintage findings - or working on a theatre piece - or sewing like an ecstatic dervish on a new art quilt - I'm always attracted to what shimmers just out of sight...the ghosts of sparkle and the rich dignity of decayed splendor.
Sparkle!
Shimmer!
Glimmer!
Gleam!

I love this. Miniatures just make me happy, and a tiny étagère is perfect for the tiniest treasures! Happy day Tristan!
