Okay, this isn't a Christmas shot. But, I've always thought this
opening number in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" ("Little Girl From
Little Rock" had a real holiday vibe about it!)
Tristan, Loved the Hollywood Christmas glam! The last photo of my faves MM & JR, were the icing on the cake. Love your blog-it's fun and its happy! Merry Christmas! Pam McKenzie
ReplyDeleteLove this!! Thanks for reminding us of a day when women were women and looked the part!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Old Hollywood photos, Tristan. Nothing screams Christmas louder than a starlet wrapped in cellophane and tinsel!

ReplyDeletejust what I needed to get into the spirit ....thank you Tristan!
ReplyDeleteThey were all wonderful Tristan, thinking of how beautiful so many stars were back then. The glamour was so magnificent.
ReplyDeleteLove these images.....such an inspiration......Happy Holidays for sure
ReplyDeleteWhat fun. I played a little game with myself to see if I could name the star before I scrolled down. Not too bad. A couple I was surprised the one of them labeled Rita looked like an older Shirley Temple like when she did "The Bachelor and the Bobby Soxer." There was a couple I flubbed on, but fab glamour. Thanks for putting these together and sharing!
